Солнечный, сияющий день. Ослепительные разноцветные пятна букетов. Взволнованные лица, улыбки, приветствия, встречи.

 

И вот поплыла чарующая мелодия вальса, в центре площади закружилась пара. Началась очередная, юбилейная, двадцатая торжественная линейка, посвященная Дню Знаний.

 

Наша, заметно увеличившаяся в этом учебном году семья внимательно слушает поздравление директора МКНО "Хана Э.А"

 

Выпускники торжественно поднимают флаги МКНО, РК и Великобритании, и с замиранием сердца все встречают самых маленьких учеников, виновников торжества - первоклассников с их классными руководителями. Это их первая линейка, но они уже организованны, собранны и ответственны. С этой минуты все внимание им: их поздравляют 11- классники, веселые аниматоры проводят увлекательные конкурсы. А потом и сами малыши рассказывают о том, как они ждали этот день, как хотят побыстрее сесть за парты.

 

Мелодия песни в исполнении выпускницы Рахимбековой Камилы сменяется озорным флэшмобом - 5 - 6 классников.

 

И вот он  - долгожданный первый звонок, который приглашает всех в кабинеты на первый классный час. "Я патриот своей страны", где ребята будут говорить о самом главном в жизни каждого человека - о Родине.

 

Так прошел этот незабываемый день, давший отсчет новым надеждам, увлечениям и мечтам, упорному труду и интересным знакомствам - всему тому, что зовется планетой МКНО.

About ensuring the access – control system

Department of Education ICCE Astana 2018-2019yy.

 

1.GENERAL PROVISIONS

Compliance with the requirements of this Regulation is mandatory for all employees, permanently or temporarily working at school, students and their parents, all corporations and individuals being on the school's territory. The access – control system at the school provides a complex of special measures aimed at maintaining order of the school’s activities and determines the procedure for admission of students and school employees and citizens to the administrative building. Responsibility for compliance with the requirements of access control by students assigned to class teachers and teachers on duty.

Employees who are on duty at the checkpoint of the School (security officers) guided by these Regulations.

The employee shall inform the school about all cases (facts) of violations of access control and fire safety regulations about persons and school children who violate access control or fire safety regulations in order to take the necessary measures.

 

2. ACESS-CONTROL SYSTEM FOR STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES OF  THE COLLEGE

2.1.  Students and ICCE staff also the visitors pass through the central and additional entrances.

2.2.  Opening / closing the doors of the central and additional entrances carried out by the guard or the security officer of the ICCE at a specified time.

2.3.  Beginning of school at 9:00. Pupils on duty class allowed into the school building at 8 hours 30 minutes, other students - at 8 hours 35 minutes. Students must arrive at the school no later than 8 hours and 50 minutes.

2.4.  In some cases, by order of the director, classes may begin from the second (and further) lesson (in all cases, students must come to school no later than 10 minutes before the start of classes).

2.5.  In the case of a delay without good reason, students allowed to enter the school with the permission of the administrator on duty or the class teacher.

2.6.  Students allowed leaving school before the end of classes only based on the personal permission from the teacher, doctor or administration representative, or based on a written application from parents and other legal representatives of the child.

2.6  Entrance students from elementary school to physical education, choreography, labor, Kazakh, English, computer science, walks and excursions, as well as to the canteen carried out only accompanied by a teacher or tutor.

2.7.  Members of clubs, sections and other groups for extracurricular activities allowed to attend school according to the schedule of classes and accompanied by a teacher or coach.

2.8.  The passage of students to school for additional classes after lessons and on Saturdays is possible according to the schedule provided by the teacher to the guard on duty.

2.9. During the holidays, students admitted to the school according to the plan of activities with students on holidays, approved by the school director.

2.10. In case of violation of discipline or rules of conduct, students can be bring to the duty teacher, class teacher, school administration.

2.11. The Director of the ICCE, his deputies, and the secretary may pass and stay on the school’s premises at any time of the day, as well as on weekends and holidays, if this is not limited to the current orders of the person in charge of access control.

2.12.  Teachers advised to arrive at school no later than 8 hours and 40 minutes

2.13.  In some cases, in accordance with the schedule approved by the school director, the lessons of a particular teacher may not begin with the first lesson (in all cases, the teacher must come to the school no later than 15 minutes before the start of his first lesson).

2.14.  Teachers, members of the administration obliged to notify the duty manager in advance about the time of scheduled meetings with individual parents, as well as about the time and place of parent meetings.

2.15. Another school employees come to the school in accordance with the work schedule approved by the director.

 

3. ACCESS-CONTROL SYSTEM FOR PARENTS (LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES) OF STUDENTS

3.1.  Parents can be admit to the school upon presentation of identity document.

3.2.  Parents meet with teachers after school or in case of emergency during break.

3.3. For a meeting with teachers, or the school administration, parents tell the person responsible for the admission to the institution of unauthorized persons the surname, name, patronymic of the teacher or administrator to which they are sent, the surname, name of their child, the class in which he is studying. The person responsible for the admission to the institution of unauthorized persons shall make an entry in the "Visitors Log".

3.4. Parents not allowed going to school with large bags. Bags must be left to a duty officer and allowed the duty officer to inspect them.

3.5. Passing to the school of parents on personal matters to the school administration is possible by prior arrangement with the administration itself, about which the duty officer should be inform in advance.

3.6.  In the case of not scheduled arrival of parents to the school, the duty officer clarifies the purpose of their arrival and misses the school only with the permission of the administration.

3.7.  Parents who come to meet their children at the end of the lesson are waiting for them on the street or at the post of the duty officer in the hall. For parents of first-graders in the first half of the school year, an adaptive access control regime is established, which is negotiated separately by class teachers at parental meetings according to the order of the director.

 

4. ACCESS-CONTROL SYSTEM FOR OTHER PERSONS

Persons who not relate to the educational process and attend college on a business basis skipped upon presentation of an identity document, as agreed with the school director, with an entry in the Visitors Log.

4.2. Officials arriving at the college with a check skipped upon presentation of an identity document, notifying the school administration and will make in the “Journal of registration of activities to monitor college activities”.

4.3. Groups of persons attending a college to conduct and participate in public events, seminars, conferences, reviews, etc., allowed into the school building upon presentation of an identity document from the lists of visitors certified by the seal and signature of the school principal.

4.4. In case of conflict situations related to the admission of visitors to the school building, the duty teacher acts on the instructions of the school principal or his deputy.

 

The Charter of the ICCE

1.The Charter of the ICCE develops the internal regulations for students of ICCE, whose main activity is educational activity, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «About Education», the Policy of education of students of ICCE.

2. These rules establish the routine of the educational process for students, uniform requirements for form of students; determine the rights and obligations of students and their legal representatives, the basic norms and rules of behavior of students on the territory of the ICCE, and at all extracurricular activities.

3.  The purpose of these Rules is to create supportive educational environment that provides conditions for successful academic and social growth of students based on mutual respect between all members of the school community - the administration, teachers, students and their legal representatives.

4.  These Rules are for all members of school community – the administration, teachers, students, their legal representatives and other ICCE employees.

5. These Rules posted in the ICCE in a prominent place for public viewing and on the ICCE website.

6. The administration and teachers of ICCE are obliged to acquaint pupils and their legal representatives with these Rules in the following cases:

1)  At receiving documents for participation in the competitive selection with signature;

2)  At submitting the application about admission in ICCE with signature;

3) In PTA meetings and school assembly.  

7. Issues not regulated by these Rules are resolved in accordance with the approved regulations of the ICNO and the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Additional education

 

Additional education of students of International College of Continuous Education is carried out primarily due to the variable component of curriculum, which provides for the implementation of the main directions of the educational institution.

 

Due to the variable component, a number of programs based on official documents: International Baccalaureate Primary School Programs PrimaryYearsProgramme («MakingthePYPHappen: A curriculum framework for international primary education» and «LanguageScopeandSequence». Within the experimental site by theme “The Combining of state and international educational standards as a condition for universal education”, approved by order of the Department of Education of Astana city No. 1 of 15.08.2017.

-          Course “Language and we”, at 1st – 4th grades.

 

Programs’ purpose:

 

To develop students' understanding that language is a means of communication, having a variety of forms and methods of transmitting and receiving information;

 

To ensure acquirement with skills of using visual, oral and written language for effective communication and research;

 

To form an awareness of the opportunities and advantages that a person owns in various types of language.

 

-          Course “Logic”, at 1st – 4th grades.

 

The purpose of this course is the development and improvement of cognitive processes (attention, perception, imagination, development of all types of memory, thinking), and formation of key competencies of students.

 

-          Course “Entertaining Grammar”, at 1st – 4th grades.

 

The purpose of this course is to expand, deepen and consolidate the knowledge of Russian language among younger schoolchildren, to show students that grammar is not a collection of boring and difficult rules, but an exciting journey of Russian language at various levels of education.

 

-          Course "Reading with passion", at 1st 4th grades. The purpose of this course is to educate a competent and interested

Reader who knows children's world literature and is ready to perceive the culture of the peoples of other countries.

-          Course "Research activities of younger schoolchildren", in grades 1-4.

The purpose of this course is the development of cognitive activity, creative abilities in the process of teaching and research activities, preparation for writing research works.

-          Course "Informatics: step by step", at 1st, 2nd, 4th grades.

The purpose of this course: the development of students' abilities to adapt in the modern information world, raising their information culture and computer literacy, the ability to creatively and productively use the possibilities of information and communication technology.

-          Course “Search”, at 1st – 4th grades.

-          Course "Science", at 1st – 4th grades, 2 hours per week. The program "Science" is a matrix built of six interdisciplinary topics arranged vertically and age groups arranged horizontally. The planning organization for the six interdisciplinary topics determines the context of student learning. This allows them to gain balanced subject-specific knowledge, concepts and skills in order to develop a deeper understanding of interdisciplinary topics.

 

-          Course “Design”, at 1st – 4th grades.

The purpose of the course is to promote aesthetic and labor education, the formation of children's style. To give students the first idea of design as a specific artistic and creative construction activity of a person. To acquaint with the history of the emergence and development of design abroad and in Kazakhstan. Introduce the main methods of artistic design; form the simplest skills in artistic design (drawing pictures, sketches, project drawings, prototyping, modeling, etc.)

-          Course “Psychology”, at 1st – 4th grades.

The purpose of the course is to develop an understanding of the significance of school in the mind of the child. To ensure the adaptation of the child to the school routine; form the concept of self-analysis and activity of child. Develop an understanding of the basic methods of scientific knowledge in the child; to ensure the development of a child's emotional intelligence; to form the child's ability to work both individually and in a group.

-          Course "Musical Drama" at 1st – 3rd, 5th, 6th grades.

The purpose of the course is to introduce children to the art of musical theater, to develop creative and musical abilities.

-          Course "Choreography", at 1st – 4th grades.

-           Course "Science in questions and answers" 5th, 6th grades.

The course "Science in Questions and Answers" is aimed to ensuring continuity in the formation of students' interest in the study of the natural sciences. Integrity science education and on the formation of a comprehensively developed personality with the ability to scientifically explain phenomena and the world around, the desire to obtain new scientific information and knowledge to solve life problems.

-          Course "Selected tasks on planimetry" at 8th grade.

The purpose of this course is to expand pupils' ideas about methods and techniques for solving planimetric tasks to move from the level of formal operational skills to a higher level, allowing you to build logical chains of reasoning, draw conclusions about the choice of solutions, analyze and evaluate the results.

-           Course “Exploring through language” for students of 5th – 10th grades.

 The course is aimed to providing high-quality education and upbringing of a modern, competitive, knowledgeable, open and globally minded person, able to explore, think creatively and critically, and realize their potential to change themselves and the world around for the better.

-          Course "Mathematical logic" at 5th – 8th grades.

The purpose of the course is the formation of means of mathematics competencies necessary for a person in modern society.

-          Course “Solving Text Tasks” at 6th grades.

The purpose of the course is a solution of mathematical tasks, the formation of the ability to find the idea of a solution, to plan the course of solving a task.

-          Course “My proud is my tradition” at 5th grades.

The purpose of the course is to acquaint students with the traditions of Kazakh people.

-          The course "Preparing for a personal project", at 9th grade. An innovative course will help solve the task of

Developing students' independence, ability to self-education and self-development, will teach to see mini-problems, correctly find information sources and develop business communication skills in the process of working on a project.

-          The Art section, according to the IB program, is represented by the courses “Fine Arts”, “Choreography”, “Music”, for students at 7th, 8th, 9th grades.

Section purpose: Art is an integral part of the MYP. Art is an essential way of communication, through which students explore and build an understanding of themselves, develop an understanding of the world around them. The arts provide students with a wide range of opportunities and means to respond to events and present historical, social, and cultural perspectives.

-           Course "Practicum on task solving" at 10th – 11th grades.

The elective course “Practicum on Task Solving” will allow schoolchildren to systematize, expand and strengthen knowledge, prepare for further study, learn to solve various tasks of varying complexity, help develop and consolidate computer skills. The program designed to work with students in grades 10-11 with the aim of improving the effectiveness of teaching them mathematics, provides for preparing them for state (final) certification in mathematics for a course of secondary schools and for further mathematics education.

-          Course “Investigating with and about the language” at 10th grade.

The purpose of this course is to develop the ability of schoolchildren to use English as a tool for communication in the dialogue of cultures of the modern world.

-          Course “IELTS preparation” at 11th grade.

The purpose of this course is aimed at the high-quality preparation of students for passing the exam in the international English language testing system, which is the main condition for admission and successful study in educational institutions chosen by students of ICCE.-

-          Course “Composition: the laws and secrets of skill. Basic rules for writing essays" at 10th – 11th grades.

         The purpose of this course is the accomplishment of a creative person who knows how to use all the achievements of linguistic culture and create their own texts of different genres.

-          Course "History of Physics and the development of ideas about the world" at 10th – 11th grades.

The program of the course aimed at the development of cognitive interests and creative abilities. The main way to implement the course is a seminar, which creates conditions for acquiring the skills of independent work with literature, creating projects that helps develop research skills. The course traces the relationship of the content of educational material, the combination of theoretical and practical material provides a wide choice in working methods that will contribute to the creative and intellectual development of students.

In the course of the assignments, students have the opportunity to express their assumptions, analyze and draw conclusions, evaluate the results of work, which also affects their development

 

RECEPTION CONDITIONS

Rules about students’ admission and exclusion of ICCE

The educational process at the ICCE based on the integration of State Compulsory Educational Standards (SESE RK) and International Baccalaureate programs.

Differentiation of education, considers the interests, needs and abilities of the child, create the conditions for the disclosure of the creative potential of students, their personal growth, develop independent and critical thinking. Students accepted to the school for whom integrated curricula are acceptable. Admission and enrollment of students carried out in accordance with the Rules of admission to school..

Enrollment is based on:

Availability of vacant places in the appropriate class (the number of children in a class should not exceed 18 people)

Documents required for admission to school:

 

Parent / Guardian Application for Admission to School;

Birth certificate or passport (copy);

Child's UIN;

Copies of IDs or passports of the student’s parent / guardian;

Photos of the child (3X4) - 2 pcs.

A child's health passport (form 026), a vaccination card (form 063) and a certificate of epidemiology from the state medical institution at the place of residence (originals)

Grade documents in previous years (originals);

Certificate of completion of basic school (for students entering grades 10-11);

Mortality talon;

Copy of the rental agreement;

Certificate from parents’ place work;

Agreement on the conditions of student education at the ICCE between students' parents and this educational institution.

 

Admission to school:

Students admitted to school from August 15 to July 1 of each school year. During the school year, admission to the appropriate classes may also be availability. The administration of the ICCE organizes a student admission procedure. The final decision on the admission of students take by the Director of the MKNO.

Conditions of admissions at 1stclass:

The child interviewed in the form of testing in order to identify the level of students' knowledge and degree of preparedness for school.

Interview with a psychologist and speech therapist.

Availability of a full package of documents.

 

Conditions of admission to elementary school:

The child interviewed in the form of testing in mathematics and the Russian language in order to identify the level of students' knowledge and degree of training in these subjects.

Interview with a psychologist to determine the degree of readiness for college.

An interview conducted in the form of testing in mathematics, the Russian language and the English language in order to identify the level of students' knowledge and degree of training in these subjects.

Adaptation period:
   

An adaptation period set for all arriving students within 4–6 weeks. During this period, the class teacher, the school psychologist, the subject teachers and the administration of the ICCE monitor the learning achievements of new students and, if necessary, provide support.
 

Behavior Rules:

All members of the school community (students, teachers, parents, technical and support staff of the school) know and follow the Rules of Behavior for students of the ICCE. Parents of newly arrived students are acquainted with this document at the first parent meeting with the class teacher or study the Students' Behavior Rules on their own. Parents pledge to ensure that their children will abide by the Students’ Behavior Rules and not miss schoolwork without good reason. Students must pass school documents (grade documents, letters, etc.) to parents or persons replacing them.
 

Exclusion from school

The school has the right to suspend a student from classes or to exclude him from the ICCE in the event of a gross violation of the internal regulations

Parents role
 

 Parents are responsible for their child's implementation of school rules and regulations. Parents can help their children by monitoring their punctuality, discipline, and prevention of being late to school. Parents should keep in touch with the class teacher, subject teachers in order to obtain information about the child’s successes and problems at school. If necessary, parents can contact the administration of MKNO.
 

Health protection

When a child enters school, parents are obliged to provide a medical card about the child’s health status, containing information about past and chronic diseases, allergies, food intolerance, etc. and vaccination sheet. In accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an annual schedule of medical examination and vaccination drawn up. An ICCE doctor informs parents about upcoming vaccinations and medical examinations in a timely manner. If necessary, the child will receive first aid in college.

Parents required immediately inform the school that the child has diagnosed with an infectious disease that may cause damage to the health of other children and school staff.

 

Safety:

ICCE n ensures student safety. Cameras are installed in the school building and surrounding areas.
 

Information Security:

The ICCE ensures that student photos will use only with the consent of their parents. If parents do not want the child’s photos or information about the child and family used for educational purposes at school activities, they must inform the school in writing form.
 

Transportation of children:

ICCE does not provide transportation services for children to school and home.
